Xiaomi’s Smarter Living 2022 in India Today: How to Watch Live, Mi Notebook, Mi TV 5X, more launches expected

Xiaomi is hosting its Smarter Living 2022 in India today (August 26) where it is launching not just one or two devices, but six different products. The new offers include a brand new Mi Notebook, Mi TV 5X and Mi Smart Band 6, as well as a new router, shoes and a security camera. Among other models, the new Mi Notebook will feature a premium all-metal design and a backlit keyboard. The Mi TV 5X is also teased to provide a compelling experience with stereo speakers.

The Smarter Living 2022 event by Xiaomi will take place today at 12 noon. The virtual conference will be broadcast live on Xiaomi’s social media channels in the country, including Twitter and Youtube. You can also watch it live from the embedded video below.

New Mi notebook

The new Mi Notebook is teased Coming with an aerospace grade 6 series aluminum alloy construction and backlit keyboard. Some recent reports suggested that Xiaomi could launch two new Mi laptops that could be the Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2021) and Mi Notebook Ultra. The first was spear initially in China in March with a 120Hz OLED display and 11th Gen Intel Core processors as well as Nvidia GeForce graphics.

Mi TV 5X

The Mi TV 5X will come with 40W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound, according to recent teasers. Smart TV is also teased for having Dolby Vision metal finish support and trims. You can also expect a new PatchWall interface and autonomous access to Google Assistant using built-in far-field microphones.

Mi Smart Band 6

Xiaomi teased that the Mi Smart Band 6 will come with a water resistant construction and a new touch screen. The fitness bracelet will also offer real-time heart rate monitoring and a list of fitness modes to choose from. Xiaomi spear the Mi Smart Band 6 in China in March priced at 229 CNY (around 2,600 Rs.) for the regular model and 279 CNY (around 3,200 Rs.) for the NFC variant. The specifications of the Mi Smart Band 6 include a 1.56-inch (152 x 486 pixels) AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326 ppi and a maximum brightness of 450 nits, Bluetooth v5.0 and a 125 mAh battery that is supposed to last. up to 14 days.

New Mi router, shoes and security camera

Besides the Mi Notebook (or Mi Notebooks), Mi TV 5X and Mi Smart Band 6, Xiaomi has teased to throw his new Mi router, shoes, and AI-powered security camera at the Smarter Living event later today. Details on these three products have yet to be revealed.
