A way‘s collaborations have been great this year, as have the launches of its product line (hello, expandable suitcases!). Now there’s one more drop we can add to our baskets – or rather, several new drops: the brand is partnering with three emerging designers to create cheerful patterned travel bags it will pop out in the luggage bins and put a smile on your face during an otherwise stressful travel day.

The new launches – the first of what Away says is an annual series – the feature picks up on Away’s Great weekend everywhere, Backpack with front pocket and Travel pouch set. Each designer put their own twist on each piece in the trio for three very different (but all super cool) results.

All the pieces releases Thursday, October 14, so mark your calendar now. Here is an overview of the creations of each designer:

Liang’s bag set features an animated pattern of colorful flowers (and the casual eye) on Kelly green and brown backgrounds and silver zippers. The weekend presents one of the green backgrounds with monochrome straps, and the backpack goes chocolate for its backdrop. The travel pouches Put a disco twist on things, with a metallic background and trims in the collection’s two iconic colors.

Adeola’s collection is a playful burst of pink, robin egg and yellow-green. Bright colors transform an otherwise classic tweed travel bag in a version that exudes the joy and excitement of being on the road again. Like the rest of the collection, it features pink suspenders, a pink zipper and a pink ruffle under the handles (the backpack place it around the edge of the front pocket). The travel pouches, meanwhile, are tousled on the sides, and one has a sheer front, making it easy to see where your lip balm is – and if you manage not to fill it in completely, you’ll spot a watercolor background. behind your business.

Choi’s take on the trio plays with blocked, bold azure tones offset by white zippers for a double-acting graphic collection. Her backpack uses different shades of sea blue on each area, while its weekend bag is divided into bands. The collection of pouches puts a slightly different riff on the theme with the introduction of purple in an ombre pattern of diagonal stripes.
