Travelers were stranded at airports in the tri-state area on Wednesday evening as flash floods ravaged the area.

More than 120 flights at Newark Airport were delayed around 10 p.m. and 24 were canceled, according to the Port Authority’s flight tracking website. No flights were scheduled to leave the airport for at least 11 p.m., sources said.

At Kennedy Airport, 108 flights were on standby and 18 were suspended, the site said.

LaGuardia Airport’s smaller list of domestic flights was also hit, with 13 flights delayed and 6 canceled.

In southern New Jersey, several tornadoes razed homes in Mullica Hill, video showed.

A flash flood warning was in effect until late overnight for all New York boroughs except Staten Island and southern Westchester County, and the city is on tornado watch until late. early morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The furious weather hitting the area are the remnants of Hurricane Ida, which swept through Louisiana with winds of 150 mph on Sunday.

Bayou state remains paralyzed by widespread flooding and power outages caused by the deadly storm.
