(Reuters) – A vice-presidente argentina Cristina Kirchner e seus aliados querem adiar um acordo de dívida de 44 bilhões de dólares com o Fundo Monetário Internacional (FMI) até que a pandemia de Covid-19 diminua, informou o Financial Times no domingo, citando autoridades.
Há cerca de uma semana, o presidente argentino Alberto Fernández disse acreditar que o FMI deveria conceder ao país termos mais flexíveis.
A Argentina está há meses em negociações com o FMI para reestruturar os termos de um empréstimo buscado pelo antecessor de Fernandez, Mauricio Macri, para enfrentar uma crise econômica que fez a pobreza disparar em um dos maiores produtores mundiais de grãos.
