Tyra Banks turns 48 with swimsuit photos

Tyra Banks celebrates her birthday by broadcasting body positivity.

The model posted a series of shots in swimsuits for her 48th birthday on Saturday, sharing a captioning self-love message.

“It’s my birthday!” The banks have started. “And every year my BODY keeps changing. My working body and my ody ody body.

“My body is fuller. And my mind too, ”she added. “Happy Birthday to all my fellow Sagittarius. Here’s to growing together, in more than one way.”

In all three photos, the former “America’s Next Top Model” judge showed off her flirtatious flair while wearing a black floral one-piece with a plunging neckline.

Heidi Klum, Kenya Moore and Kelly Cutrone were among many celebrities wishing Banks a happy birthday in the comments.

Fans also applauded her for the empowering message, with part writing, “Thank you for sharing the important message that our bodies change, which is normal!” while another added: “No matter how tall you are, you are always beautiful.”

This isn’t the first time Banks has championed body positivity in a swimsuit. In 2019, she came out of retirement to pose for the cover of the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, 23 years after first presenting the bikini bible.

“I tell people beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and ages,” she said. said at the time. “I have to put my money where my mouth is. I have to make sure my post is pure.

Although she may be retired from modeling, Banks is never one to shy away from adventurous styles. She most recently brought her runway skills to the ballroom while hosting “Dancing With the Stars” in viral outfits ranging from a Britney Spears tribute to a style that sparked “Jurassic Park” comparisons.

“It’s all built for her this season,” stylist Eric Archibald told Page Six Style of the custom suits, which he had planned months in advance. “The tulles are dyed to match her skin tone. We do three or four fittings per week. All is [made custom] to his body.
