Sony’s latest State of Play event is expected to provide a detailed look at Arcane Studios’ upcoming FPS, Death loop, and if you want to see all the action live, then you’ve come to the right place.

Sony stressed that today’s State of Play event will not include updates on God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon forbidden to the west, or PSVR 2, So remember it well.

How to watch the Sony State of Play live stream
The State of Play event takes place July 8 at 2 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. BST / 5 p.m. EDT (or July 9 at 7 a.m. AEST).

The showcase is set to run for 30 minutes, with nine minutes dedicated to Deathloop and the rest of the show providing updates on indie and third-party games.
Sony’s state of play: what we expect to see
According to Sony, this State of Play event will focus primarily on Deathloop and should provide a closer look at Arkane Studios’ highly anticipated first-person shooter.
We already know Deathloop is due out on September 14, 2021, so we’re waiting for a more detailed explanation of how the game’s time loop elements work and some nice surprises.
We hope that in addition to shedding light on what’s new in Deathloop, this showcase will also reveal some key dates for third-party titles and showcase some intriguing indie games for PS5.
