Should a Felon Get to Show Art in a Senior Exhibit?

One of the artists on display in a show of graduating seniors at Bennington College is a felon who pleaded guilty to lewd-lascivious conduct and furnishing alcohol to a minor, The Bennington Banner reported. The plea deal came in a case in which Jack D’Angelo, a senior, was accused of forcing a 16-year-old to take drugs and drink alcohol before sexually assaulting the teen. Some students have said that Bennington does not do enough to prevent and punish sexual assault. A spokesperson for Bennington said, “Jack D’Angelo graduated from the college in December.
