LAFAYETTE OUEST, Ind. – Purdue Extension The Mastering Home Food Preservation team is running a virtual home food preservation learning series, “Preserve It Now… Enjoy It Later! “
Those interested in honing their home preservation skills are invited to join virtually from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays from July 13 to August 10.
Each session will include a short presentation, an interactive discussion, a food preservation demonstration, and question and answer time.
The schedule is as follows:
- July 13 – Equipment.
- July 20 – Salsa.
- July 27 – Stripping.
- August 3 – Canning under pressure.
- August 10 – Jam and jelly.
