WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University Commercial Agriculture Center will host a free webinar on 2021 Crop Insurance Decisions at 10:30 a.m.ET on Monday, March 1.
The webinar will review crop insurance choices for corn and soybeans to provide important information and considerations for crop insurance decision making.
“Crop insurance is an important aspect of the risk management program of almost every corn and soybean farm,” said James Mintert, professor and director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture. “There are a few new choices to consider this year, including the Extended Coverage Option (ECO). This webinar will be a great opportunity for growers to review their crop insurance alternatives as Michael Langemeier and I explain to attendees the considerations for their choices in 2021. ”
Langemeier is professor of agricultural economics and associate director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture. Registration is free on the Commercial Agriculture Center website.
After registering, attendees will receive a confirmation email with a link to view the live webinar at the scheduled time. Those who cannot participate live can register to receive a follow-up email after the webinar to download the slides and view the recording.
