WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University Commercial Agriculture Center will host a free webinar on the corn and soybean outlook for the month of February at 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday (February 10). Registration is available.
The webinar will take place following the release of the February Agricultural Production Reports and the US Department of Agriculture’s World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE). These reports and strategies for consideration for 2021 will be the main topics of the webinar.
“The limited crop supply in the United States, coupled with concerns about the South American crop and the prospect of wide variations in acreage, are of concern to all agricultural producers,” said James Mintert, professor and director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture . “Michael Langemeier, Nathanael Thompson and I will walk participants through updated information from USDA and other sources and discuss strategies to consider for 2021.”
Langemeier is a professor and associate director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture, and Thompson is an assistant professor in the department of agricultural economics at Purdue. Registration is free on the Commercial Agriculture Center website. After registering, attendees will receive a confirmation email with a link to view the live webinar at the scheduled time. Those who cannot participate live can register to receive a follow-up email after the webinar to download the slides and view the recording.
