Purdue Ag Alumni Gone Fishin ‘Event Presents New Business Pitches


WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Thirteen people will pitch their ideas at 2 p.m. Friday (February 5) for farm businesses for cash prizes at Purdue Ag Alumni’s Gone Fishin ‘Fish Tank event. They will present to alumni of Purdue Agriculture and other potential investors as well as a jury.

Bernie Engel, associate dean of agricultural research and higher education at Purdue, will host the event. The judges will award a first prize of $ 5,000. Spectators at the event will vote for a People’s Choice award winner, who will receive $ 1,000.

This year’s Purdue Ag Alumni Fish Fry has been transformed into Gone Fishin, a series of virtual presentations and gatherings. Information is available here.
