Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo accused the Biden administration to work to do Iran America’s “main partner” in the Middle East, calling the talks with Iran “particularly dangerous” for Israel, and declaring that the Iranian factions Democratic Party behave in a “fundamentally anti-Semitic” manner.
In an interview with Republican National Committee President Ronna mcdaniel on his “Real America” podcast, Pompeo discussed the importance of “stability and peace” in Jerusalem while accusing the Biden administration of backing Iran on Israel.
WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT ABOUT NUCLEAR IRAN?
“Why would you side with Iran against our ally, Israel – that is indeed what they are doing,” Pompeo said.
“Think back to those first 100 days and more. There is a group of terrorists in a country called Yemen.… They are called Houthis – they are members of the tribe. They are an Iranian proxy. They are clearly terrorists, and the administration says, no, we’re going to remove them. We’re going to say they’re not terrorists, “Pompeo continued, referring to the Biden administration’s decision in February to lift the designation of the Houthis as terrorists. as a global terrorist organization. “Today they are launching missiles into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Americans travel to Riyadh and Jeddah, everywhere. There will be an American killed. “
Pompeo added that the Houthis “subscribe to the Palestinian Authority by returning all the funds we had withdrawn.”
“These are the same Palestinians who are now firing rockets at Israel,” Pompeo said. “They are going to allow Hezbollah in Lebanon, all those places where Iran is the most destabilizing force in this important region of the Middle East.”
But Pompeo said the Biden administration created “the ninth year of the Obama-Biden administration’s efforts to make Iran America’s primary partner in the Middle East.”
“It is dangerous for the Gulf States, it is particularly dangerous for this important place of Israel which will celebrate its 73rd anniversary in the days to come,” Pompeo added.
Pompeo warned that decisions in the Middle East “will also have an impact here at home.”
And in another coup against the Biden administration, Pompeo said “the whole team is back,” referring to members of President Biden’s national security team who served under the former president obama.
“We have to push them back,” Pompeo said, adding that US policy towards Israel was “largely bipartisan”.
“Everyone understood that this was an important democratic partner in the region. You have important, not aberrant, but important segments of the Democratic Party that behave in a fundamentally anti-Semitic manner,” Pompeo said.
Pompeo singled out Democrats as representative Ilhan Omar and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but also candidate for the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections Senator Bernie Sanders.
“This now extends to the mainstream liberal ideology that Israel’s existence is somehow a threat to the world, not a glory,” Pompeo said.
Pompeo’s comments came months after the fighting between Israel and Hamas ended when Israel in May announced a ceasefire, which was negotiated with help from neighboring Egypt. who has served for decades as a mediator in conflicts in the region.
Meanwhile, the White House said last week that it would continue talks on Iran’s nuclear power and a “diplomatic path ahead.”
The White House reacted and condemned Tehran’s alleged “dangerous and contemptible” plot to kidnap an American citizen on American soil.
“We categorically condemn Iran’s dangerous and despicable plot to kidnap an American citizen on American soil, we will vigorously defend American citizens and American interests,” the House press secretary said last week. Blanche, Jen Psaki. “This includes law enforcement actions like the one announced yesterday, as well as actions the president has taken to defend US forces in the region against militant groups backed by Iran.”
Psaki added that he also included “the administration’s diplomatic effort to curtail Iran’s nuclear program”, calling it one of its “most important and urgent actions”.

“It is the actions aimed at silencing the voices of those working peacefully to remedy the situation both inside and outside Iran that are appalling,” Psaki continued. “We will continue to speak out against this, and of course law enforcement authorities will take appropriate action.”
