National Thanksgiving turkeys pardoned to arrive at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —Peanut Butter and Jelly, the national Thanksgiving turkeys that President Joseph R. Biden Jr. pardoned on November 19, will be welcomed into their new home at Purdue University from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday (November 29 ) the Purdue Memorial Mall (weather permitting). There will be photo opportunities with the turkeys in front of the Boilermaker Special for the media and other participants. Animal science teacher Marisa Erasmus will be available to answer questions about the new home and turkey care.

If weather conditions require the event to be canceled, Purdue Agriculture will post on its Twitter account, @PurdueAg
