Jovenel Moïse: Haiti asks for foreign troops after the assassination of the president

The attack took place in the early hours of July 7, when gunmen broke into the president’s home, shot him dead and injured his wife. Mr. Moïse, 53, was found lying on his back with 12 gunshot wounds and a punctured eye, authorities said.
