Howie Mandel was recovering at home Wednesday night and “getting better” after passing out at a Starbucks in Los Angeles earlier today.
The 65-year-old “America’s Got Talent” judge suffered the medical episode while having coffee with his wife and friends at one of the coffee chain outposts in Woodland Hills, TMZ had reported.
“I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar levels” Mandel said in a Wednesday night tweet explaining the ordeal.
The former “Deal or No Deal” host was briefly hospitalized.
“I appreciate the excellent doctors and nurses who took such good care of me. Thanks to everyone who reached out but I’m fine! he said.
The former “Deal or No Deal” host is known for his germaphobia and OCD and he told Page Six last year that he was taking medication to help him cope.
“I’m moving my therapist into a whole new tax bracket on the phone,” he joked. “Some people call it a pandemic, I call it ‘I told you! “
“At first I felt responsible for the PPE shortage because I had accumulated hazardous materials gloves, masks and coveralls over the past 50 years, but I gave them all away. I can’t wait for it to end. “
