Whitemud Park

With a starting point near Fort Edmonton Park and the John Janzen Nature Center, a walk in Whitemud Park can be just the start of a day full of outdoor activities. The trailhead is just south of the Alfred H. Savage Center which is a good place to stop for water and a bathroom break. The trail crosses the Whitemud Ravine Nature Reserve and is pedestrian only, bicycles are not allowed. The total trail distance is 6 miles, however, the midpoint point in Snow Valley is a natural turning point.
