Get ready for FW’s 2021 crop photo contest

Do you like taking pictures with your phone, DSLR or drone? With the start of the harvest fast approaching for some, Farmers Weekly gives you the chance to see one of your photos from the 2021 harvest adorn the cover of the magazine.

Readers can upload their snaps to our online harvest gallery – and our favorite photo will be used for a cover later this summer.

All you have to do is share your best photos of machines, crops, people and landscapes over the coming weeks, uploading them to the gallery.

We want to see images that capture the good and the bad of the 2021 harvest – the long days and the hard transplant, the frustrations and the joys, the sun (or the rain), the sunrises and sunsets, the dust and the dirt, and the people and the kit that makes it possible.

We will choose a selection throughout the season to share on our website, social media and in the magazine. So even if yours isn’t the big winner, you might see it in your favorite farm reading.

The competition is open to non-professional photographers, and while we love to see all of your images, please remember that the winning image will need to be square in shape (or could be cropped to a square) to appear on the FW cover. .

The higher the resolution, the better (ideally we need a minimum file size of 2MB).

There is no limit to the number of images you can submit, but they must be your own and taken this year.

When uploading your entries, don’t forget to add a short description telling us where the photo was taken and what it shows.

We can’t wait to see your photos and, to inspire you, here are the winners and finalists from 2020.
