Evacuation flights out of Afghanistan may have largely come to a halt, but with international funding largely frozen and the humanitarian crisis escalating – thousands of people still desperately seek a way out.
The remote city of Zaranj, close to the borders of Pakistan and Iran, is a major hub for human trafficking.
Traffickers told BBC Afghanistan correspondent Secunder Kermani that the number of Afghans leaving the country had more than doubled since the Taliban takeover.
