Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) on track to play Thursday against Las Vegas Raiders

FRISCO, Texas – Four days after suffering a concussion in Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Lamb CeeDee is on track to play Thursday against the Las Vegas Adventurers.

Lamb, who leads the Cowboys in receptions (50), yards (740) and touchdowns (six), completed Wednesday’s practice and was due to meet with team medics and an independent neurologist for final clearance post workout.

Lamb is officially listed as questionable on the injury report, but coach Mike McCarthy is optimistic he will play.

“He hasn’t missed a step in a short week,” said McCarthy. “As we discussed on Monday, if he is able to continue to progress, we consider him available for the game.”

Lamb suffered the concussion late in the second quarter against the Chiefs when his head hit the ground. Although he looked good, he was sidelined in the second half. He was able to attend meetings on Monday and continue the concussion protocol without any setback.

“It was great today” Dak prescott Said “All done, I had a little session with him [Tuesday]. I think it was like his check for the most part and we did a few double moves, things like that to obviously just make sure to just balance and turn his head and he didn’t feel any of that so I didn’t. don’t think we have any limits in playing with him. “

With Lamb able to play, the Cowboys’ passing offense would be reinforced, but it will still be without a wide receiver. Amari Cooper. He is missing his second consecutive game on the reserve / COVID-19 roster as an unvaccinated player. If he clears COVID protocols, he could return in time for training before the Dec. 2 meeting against the Saints of New Orleans.

In defense, the Cowboys started the defensive end’s 21-day training window By Marcus Lawrence, although he won’t be playing against the Raiders.

Lawrence broke his foot in training days after the start of the season. He was operated on immediately and has stepped up his rehabilitation in recent weeks and may be available in a limited role against the Saints. Randy Gregory will miss his third game in a row with calf strain, but he’s also set to come back after doing more rehab this week.
