Beverly Hills Police said on Wednesday that officers had arrested five suspects they believed to be linked to a series of recent thefts.

The first incidents happened around 10:50 p.m. Monday, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. Officers received two reports of armed robberies near Elm Drive and Charleville Boulevard, and near Rexford Drive and Charleville.

The suspects fled in a black SUV before police arrived, but investigators were able to obtain the description of the vehicle and the license plate, as well as a description of the two suspects, police said.

Police said the victims of the first two flights were not injured.

Detectives found the SUV near West 54th and Figueroa streets in Los Angeles, police said. At around 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, Los Angeles Police detectives and patrol units stopped the vehicle and arrested a man and woman inside. They also reported finding a replica gun inside.

Chynelle Tyla-Lee Rhyne, 22, of Los Angeles, has been charged with brandishing a fake firearm, police said. Judge Rasheedmalike Gill, 25, of Los Angeles, has been charged with one count of robbery.

At 4:19 p.m. later Tuesday, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on Beverly Boulevard west of Doheny Drive, police said.

The suspects fled on foot before the police arrived, police said. They set up a containment zone and eventually found three suspects.

Two of the suspects loaded handguns on them, police said. The victims were not injured.

One of the suspects is 16 years old and is not named because he is a minor.

Lakeylia Lambert, 37, of Seaside, has been charged with one count of robbery and conspiracy, police said. Isaiah Hudson, 19, of Marina, faces one count of robbery, conspiracy and carrying a concealed weapon.

Investigators do not believe the thefts are linked to other criminal activity in the city, police said. An investigation into Monday’s incidents is underway.
