Cafe Mosaics

You know brunch is good when you don’t even notice that the sausage you just ate was in fact made entirely of vegetables. You read correctly. This vegetarian and vegan friendly breakfast spot has fooled even the pickiest of meatatarians.

SEED

Award-winning, and rightly so, PIP changed the brunch scene when it first appeared in Edmonton. Serving great brunch every day of the week, we wouldn’t judge you if you showed up for each one. We highly recommend the Short Rib Egg Benedict, or of course a millennial staple, avocado on toast. And top it all off with one of their delicious brunch cocktails. Mimosas, do you like it?

MEAT

Sister restaurant of PIP and the Next Act Pub, MEAT is in a class of its own. They smoke the most tender and flavorful meats you’ve ever tasted, then incorporate them into their brunch menu to make it a morning meal you won’t soon forget. And while this is definitely a meat lover’s paradise, they haven’t forgotten to include vegetarian options as well!

Sugar

An absolute staple in Edmonton, you can’t leave Sugarbowl without trying one of their huge homemade cinnamon buns. And we really mean huge, these things were made to be shared (unless you want to eat it all yourself, we won’t judge). Sure, they have other amazing things on the menu, but really, try the cinnamon bread.

New York bagel cafe

Imagine your choice of homemade bagel (we highly recommend the cheese) topped with a perfectly poached egg and a buttery hollandaise sauce. Top it off with a few special ingredients like prosciutto and apples on Secondo, or a full beef patty topped with pickles on Bobby’s Benedict. As a bonus, each Benedictine comes with a bouquet of neat fancy berries.
